What you will do
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of complex safeguarding and child protection cases.
- Risk & Planning: Lead on risk assessments, care planning, and intervention strategies to safeguard children and families.
- Mentoring: Mentor, coach, and support less experienced social workers to uphold high standards of practice.
- Quality Assurance: Undertake joint visits and case audits to ensure exceptional practice quality.
- Leadership Support: Assist the Team Manager with quality assurance and performance management tasks.
- Multi‑Agency Working: Chair or contribute to strategy meetings, core groups, and multi‑agency discussions.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Practice Development: Promote relationship‑based and strengths‑based approaches and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
