This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant within the Older Adult Mental Health Team on a three-month locum basis in beautiful Guernsey. Based on Corbiere Ward, a 20-bed dementia care unit, you will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate, person-centred care to older adults living with dementia.

What you will do:

• Support patients with activities of daily living in line with care plans
• Monitor, observe, and report any changes in patient condition
• Build trusting and compassionate relationships with patients and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks appropriately
• Contribute to care planning and team discussions
• Ensure safe use and handling of equipment and resources
