What you will do:
- Provide advanced clinical pharmacy services, including comprehensive medication reviews, reconciliation, and optimisation strategies to boost patient health outcomes.
- Deliver expert advice on intricate drug therapies, ensuring safe and effective prescribing in line with the latest guidelines from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
- If qualified, act as an Independent Prescriber, crafting and adjusting treatment plans within your scope of practice.
- Lead and continuously develop clinical pharmacy services, fostering innovation and driving service improvements.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior pharmacy staff as well as multidisciplinary team members, enhancing team performance and patient care.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), maintaining high-quality care.
- Engage in clinical audit, research, and governance processes to uplift the quality and safety of pharmacy services.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient care results.
