Location: Wheatley Footbridge, Bradley Industrial Estate (Off A62 Leeds Rd), Huddersfield, HD2 1UR
Pay Rate: £19.08 per hour (PAYE)
Project: W3 - Area 2 & 3
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting an experienced Rail Slinger / Signaller to join our team working on the W3 - Area 2 & 3 project at Wheatley Footbridge in Huddersfield. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting safe lifting operations and ensuring effective communication with crane operators and site teams in a rail environment.
Position Available
Rail Slinger / Signaller - PTS and CPCS/NPORS Slinger Signaller required
What We're Looking For
Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety)
CPCS or NPORS Slinger / Signaller ticket
Previous experience working on rail or infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of safe lifting operations and signalling procedures
Ability to work effectively as part of a team on a busy rail site
Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
Valid Right to Work in the UK
Duties Will Include
Slinging and signalling loads during lifting operations
Communicating clearly with crane operators and site teams
Ensuring all lifting activities follow approved lift plans and method statements
Carrying out checks on lifting equipment and accessories
Maintaining high standards of health & safety compliance on site
Supporting the wider site team where required
