What You Will Do

Support the Team Manager in promoting high-quality social work practice and developing innovative approaches to service delivery.

Role model excellent, creative, and relationship-based social work practice across the service.

Hold a complex caseload, exercising a high level of professional autonomy in assessment, planning, and decision-making.

Provide mentoring, coaching, and practice guidance to less experienced social workers and students.

Undertake high-quality assessments, and plan, implement, and review interventions for children and families.

Lead and contribute to multi-agency meetings, ensuring effective collaboration and shared decision-making.

Deliver training sessions and group supervision, supporting continuous learning and development within the team.

Ensure practice is compliant with relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and local policies.
