What You Will Do

• Conduct assessments and provide clinical advice on moving and handling, seating arrangements, and specialist equipment.

• Recommend and implement minor and major environmental adaptations to support service users’ needs.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive and person-centred care plans.

• Provide training and guidance to service users and their families on safe moving and handling techniques.

• Maintain accurate records of interventions and outcomes in line with professional standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development to remain up to date with best practice and industry developments.

Requirements

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

• Experience within moving and handling practice.

• Valid driving licence to travel across the Bodmin community and surrounding areas.
