What you will do:
- Provide high-quality assessment and care management for children and families needing ongoing social services intervention.
- Conduct assessments in line with Directorate policies and relevant frameworks like Working Together to Safeguard Children.
- Collaborate to develop effective, outcome-focused intervention plans with children, young people, and their parents or carers to safeguard welfare and address risks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records as per Directorate policy.
- Review interventions within statutory timescales to ensure plans are achieving set outcomes.
- Highlight unmet needs identified from assessments to managers within Children's Services.
- Ensure administrative processes for data collection are completed on time.
- Demonstrate professional competence in social work practice.
- Attend training programs to enhance skills and support personal development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, providing necessary reports.
- Work in conjunction with staff from other Directorates and agencies.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, Directorate's policies, and procedures.
