Kickstart your legal career on a global stage supporting major energy and infrastructure projects.Our Client has a requirement for a Paralegal, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Kingston-Upon-Thames Role Purpose: Provide legal support across international business operationsAssist with legal research, litigation, and compliance activitiesSupport the legal team in managing documentation and external counsel Job Role Responsibilities: Conduct legal research and stay up to date with developments across the UK, APAC, and North AmericaProvide timely legal insights and support to internal stakeholdersAssist in managing litigation cases, including document review and preparation of legal briefsCoordinate with external legal counsel and track case progressSupport dispute resolution strategies to ensure efficient outcomesMaintain and update legal documentation systems and shared drivesEnsure accurate record keeping of legal correspondence and adviceImprove knowledge management systems for better accessibility of legal informationManage records related to external counsel engagement and paymentsAssist with compliance initiatives relating to company policies and regulations Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or equivalent experienceProven post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally in a corporate or law firm environmentExposure to international legal matters is preferredStrong IT skills and experience with legal document/knowledge management systemsBusiness-level proficiency in a foreign language (French, German, Norwegian, or Chinese) is advantageous Benefits: Opportunity to work for a globally recognised energy and infrastructure companyExposure to international legal work and cross-border mattersCollaborative and professional working environmentPotential for career development within a global organisation Company information At First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
