Job Role Responsibilities: Produce 3D models to a level of detail suitable for construction.Prepare 2D drawings, including layouts and general arrangements, to construction-ready standards.Maintain quality control of models and drawings, including updating drawing registers such as MIDP.Ensure designs are completed in accordance with CDM Regulations.Act as Digital Delivery Champion within the team.Coordinate drawing work undertaken by offshore resources.Support and develop junior members of the team and offshore design resource.Coordinate design outputs across all technical disciplines.Establish strong working relationships with design staff. Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.Strong 2D drafting and 3D modelling skills with relevant qualifications.Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and other 3D applications.Experience with Bentley ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud.Broad experience using common engineering software and IT systems.Working and theoretical understanding of CAD standards and QA processes.Excellent attention to detail and ability to present complex designs clearly.Self-starter with an inquisitive mindset and interest in how mechanical and civil structures come together.Delivery-driven with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
