We are seeking an Assistant Head Inclusion to join our team in Ealing, supporting and enhancing the school environment through strategic leadership in behaviour management, attendance, inclusion, and safeguarding processes. You’ll be working closely with the Deputy Headteacher and other Senior Leaders to help every pupil achieve their full potential.

Job Purpose:
Support the Deputy Headteacher in the operational leadership of the school, working closely with them and other Senior Leaders to manage day-to-day operations with the aim of supporting all pupils to reach their full potential. Lead staff and be accountable in the consistent management and development of the school’s behaviour management, attendance, inclusion, and safeguarding processes and procedures, as well as support the SLT in other areas of school improvement.

What you will do:
- Fulfil the role of the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils in accordance with statutory guidance.
- Oversee the Families and School Together (FAST) provision, enhancing family liaison and partnerships.
- Manage complex caseloads involving families and pupils with intensive needs.
- Coordinate multi-agency assessment and planning for pupils with specific protection plans.
- Hold responsibility for effective collaboration with stakeholders including parents, local authorities, and other professionals.
- Lead initiatives that enhance health and wellbeing within the school and community.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on matters of pupil safety and safeguarding, fostering a positive learning culture.

Requirements:
- An appropriate degree-level professional qualification in Social Work or as a qualified teacher.
- Experience as an effective Designated Safeguarding Lead within a specialist provision.
- Proven knowledge of safeguarding legislation and procedures.
- Experience working with diverse and complex pupil needs.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on promoting a culture of inclusion.
