Band 5 Nurse Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Ashford, UK

We are currently recruiting to cover ongoing Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) shifts. This opportunity is too good to pass up! As a locum nurse, you'll also have the flexibility to choose your own hours, with shift slots available from 07:15 – 19:45 for long days and 19:15 – 07:45 for nights. This is an exciting chance to use your expertise and make a difference every day, all while earning a competitive income and enjoying the flexibility and variety that locum work provides.

Pay rates:

Band 5: £32 (day), £34 (nights/Saturdays), £36 (Sundays/bank holidays)
Band 6: £34 (day), £37 (nights/Saturdays), £42 (Sundays/bank holidays)

What you will do:

- Provide high-quality, individualised nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
- Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring any irregularities are reported and acted upon promptly.
- Support and educate families, offering guidance and reassurance during challenging times.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes for your tiny patients.
- Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive patient records, ensuring continuity of care.
