What you will do:
- Provide expert assessment and intervention for children and young people with dysphagia and AAC needs.
- Engage in active networking with other regional and national specialists, including Clinical Excellence Networks.
- Instigate and manage change within the team, ensuring best practices are adopted.
- Mentor and support other Speech and Language Therapists, providing clinical supervision.
- Collaborate effectively with school staff to support students within educational settings.
- Lead a team within a defined service area, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
- Utilize excellent interpersonal skills to work within a multi-disciplinary team and communicate sensitively with families and colleagues.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration is essential to provide assurance of your skills and professionalism.
- A valid driving license is needed to travel between locations and provide flexible support where necessary.
- Demonstrated experience in dysphagia and AAC, as well as a strong capability in managing complex caseloads.
