What you will do:
- Monitor the quality of education provided for children educated at home and ensure their safety.
- Take action to meet the educational needs of home-educated children fully.
- Collaborate with education and inclusion services to develop effective policies and procedures for monitoring elective home education.
- Prioritise safeguarding and the welfare of children, addressing any emerging concerns.
- Organise and conduct visits with families, delivering comprehensive reports and RAG ratings after each visit.
- Provide clear feedback to families, issuing improvement notices when needed and fostering proactive engagement with parents/carers.
- Schedule regular follow-up visits to ensure continuous educational improvement.

Requirements:
- Educated to degree level with Qualified Teacher Status.
- Approximately 3 years of teaching experience across Key Stages 1, 2, 3, or 4.
- Strong understanding of the Ofsted Framework and National Curriculum Orders.
- Familiarity with the Foundation Stage Curriculum and effective learning strategies.
- Proficient in interpreting legislation and providing informed, strategic advice.
- Committed to inclusive education, catering to diverse and underachieving pupil groups including SEN and EAL.
