What you will do:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at all times.
- Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight, and report any concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
- Support the healthcare team in administering treatments and medications as directed by registered healthcare professionals.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere.
- Assist with the organisation and movement of patients within different departments as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being.

What you bring:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is essential.
- Relevant experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in hospital or care home settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients and staff.
- In-depth knowledge of care practices and techniques, including a compassionate and caring approach to patient care.
- Capable of maintaining composure in challenging situations while working effectively under pressure.
- Basic computer proficiency is advantageous for record-keeping and communication tasks.
