What you will do:
- Perform all tasks in alignment with current legislation and Social Services policies, ensuring high standards of practice as endorsed by senior management.
- Manage a caseload efficiently, whether straightforward or complex, and complete related administrative duties.
- Responsibly act on referrals allocated by the team manager or senior social work practitioner.
- Engage with service users, carers, and support networks, actively seeking feedback to enhance person-centred care.
- Ensure accessible information for service users and carers is available and assist in outcome-focused care plan constructions.
- Present reports and evidence in court when required.
- Collaboratively work with other professionals like healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Produce high-quality written and verbal reports and contribute to monitoring plan implementations.
- Develop and promote best practices in child protection within the team, supporting professional growth for newer social workers and students.
- Partake in service planning, delivery, and review activities, always promoting user and carer involvement.
- Chair meetings under the team manager’s direction and contribute to a shared understanding of child protection responsibilities.
