We’re excited to continue our partnership with a leading UK consumer brand, headquartered in the UK, as they look to appoint an ESG Reporting Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening their ESG reporting framework.

This is a high‑profile contract opportunity for a minimum of 6 months (outside IR35), where you’ll sit at the intersection of Finance, Regulation and Sustainability, owning ESG reporting for a listed business and helping future‑proof it against evolving UK regulatory and investor expectations.

What you’ll be doing:

Owning ESG Reporting – Develop, manage and deliver ESG reports and disclosures aligned to UK regulations and best practice.
Building the Framework – Design process maps, governance structures and controls for ESG and non‑financial reporting.
Regulatory Leadership – Lead on TCFD, carbon reporting and other UK‑focused regulatory requirements.
External Influence – Act as a key external‑facing lead with investors, regulators and relevant third parties.
Stakeholder Management – Partner closely with Finance and senior stakeholders to embed ESG across the business.

Who they’re looking for:

Qualified Accountant – ACA / ACCA or equivalent, with creditable grounding in financial reporting would be desirable.
ESG Subject Matter Expert – Proven experience in ESG, sustainability or non‑financial reporting within a PLC or regulated environment.
Builder & Improver – Someone who thrives on creating processes, governance and structure from the ground up.
Commercial & Credible – Confident engaging with investors, auditors and regulators.
Influential Communicator – Excellent stakeholder management skills with the gravitas to operate at senior level.
