Senior Contracts Manager – Infrastructure / Energy Projects
Location: Flexible (UK-based) - Permanent Staff - Very competitive salary plus car allowance plus bonus

A global engineering and infrastructure organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to support major international projects, including high-voltage electrical substations and power infrastructure developments.

This role will lead contract management activities across complex projects, ensuring strong commercial governance, effective risk management and successful contract delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead contract management activities across large infrastructure and energy projects

• Develop contract strategies covering risk, pricing, scope and delivery schedules

• Provide expert support during contract negotiations and commercial discussions

• Review and advise on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions

• Manage contract performance including payments, claims and warranties

• Identify contractual risks and implement mitigation strategies

• Support change management processes and protect contractual interests

• Assist with dispute resolution and work closely with legal teams where required

• Guide project teams on contract-related matters and support knowledge sharing

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in construction or energy infrastructure projects, particularly HV electrical substations

• Experience managing contracts with National Grid or similar utilities

• Background working on international projects within a global environment

• Strong understanding of commercial, financial and contractual risk management

• Excellent negotiation, leadership and stakeholder communication skills
