As part of a dynamic children’s safeguarding team, you will contribute to a high-quality parenting assessment service, delivering evidence-based assessments and tailored interventions for families involved in pre-proceedings or care proceedings. What you will do:

Conduct comprehensive parenting assessments for families involved in pre-proceedings or care proceedings.

Provide clear written reports and verbal evidence in court, supporting informed judicial decisions.

Supervise Family Support Workers, guiding them to deliver tailored interventions and practical support for families.

Apply advanced critical thinking and analytical skills to develop evidence-based recommendations.

Work collaboratively within the children’s safeguarding framework, ensuring high-quality service delivery and positive outcomes for children.
About you:
This role is suited to an experienced practitioner with strong knowledge of children’s safeguarding legislation and court processes. You will bring a minimum of five years post-qualifying experience, alongside the ability to deliver robust assessments and lead practice with confidence.
