What You Will Do:

• Conduct kinship fostering assessments, including Connected Person assessments, in line with statutory guidance and fostering regulations

• Provide supervision and ongoing support to kinship carers, ensuring placements meet children’s needs and comply with fostering standards

• Contribute to care planning and permanency planning in collaboration with children’s social workers to promote stability and positive outcomes

• Prepare and present high-quality reports for fostering panels, including Form C assessments and reviews

Person Specification:

• Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent) with evidence of continued professional development

• Registered with Social Work England with strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989, Fostering Services Regulations 2011, and National Minimum Standards for Fostering

• Enhanced DBS clearance required
