What You Will Do:

Conduct kinship fostering assessments, including Connected Person assessments, in line with statutory guidance and fostering regulations

Provide supervision and ongoing support to kinship carers, ensuring placements meet children’s needs and comply with fostering standards

Contribute to care planning and permanency planning in collaboration with children’s social workers to promote stability and positive outcomes

Prepare and present high-quality reports for fostering panels, including Form C assessments and reviews
Person Specification:

Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent) with evidence of continued professional development

Registered with Social Work England with strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989, Fostering Services Regulations 2011, and National Minimum Standards for Fostering

Enhanced DBS clearance required
