This is a key role within the site, responsible for producing accurate, compliant estimates that support workshop efficiency, customer satisfaction, and commercial performance.This role is not suitable for candidates without hands-on estimating experience in a vehicle accident repair centre.The roleAs ATA Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage accurately and efficiently, ensuring all repairs are correctly scoped, costed, and documented in line with manufacturer and insurer standards.Your responsibilities will include: Producing accurate estimates using Audatex and/or GT MotiveCapturing all vehicle damage correctly at first assessmentFollowing approved manufacturer repair methods including Thatcham and Ezi-MethodsProcessing estimates in line with site capacity, budgets, and repair schedulesSupporting KPI performance around revenue, cycle time, and efficiencyLiaising directly with customers to explain repairs and manage expectationsIdentifying and escalating any safety-related repair concernsSupporting Customer Service teams with technical and estimating queriesUpdating estimates to reflect approvals, supplements, and final invoice values To be considered, you must have: Proven experience as an ATA VDA Estimator within an automotive accident repair environmentStrong knowledge of all body repair processes and proceduresHands-on experience using Audatex, GT Motive, Thatcham and Ezi-MethodsConfidence working to tight deadlines in a busy bodyshop settingClear communication skills and strong attention to detail Applications without automotive accident repair estimating experience will not be progressed.What we offer £55,000 OTE plus bonus potential25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysMonday to Friday working – no weekend workFlexible weekday shift patternsCompany pension contributions
