What you will do:

Manage a complex caseload of children and families, including Child Protection (Section 47) and Child in Need (Section 17) cases.
Undertake and oversee advanced statutory assessments and risk evaluations, ensuring timely and effective care planning.
Provide practice leadership, mentoring, and support to social workers, promoting reflective and evidence-based practice.
Lead and contribute to multi-agency safeguarding processes, including strategy discussions, child protection conferences, and core group meetings.

Qualifications

Hold a Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent) with evidence of continued professional development.
Post-qualifying training (desirable).

Registration & Compliance

Registered with Social Work England.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, including the Children Act 1989 and 2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and Public Law Outline (PLO).
Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
