Pay: £37.64 per hour
Charge: £42.14 per hour
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist looking for an exciting adventure in the heart of Perth?
We have an outstanding locum opportunity for a Band 7 Hand Therapist to join our specialist outpatient team. This role is available ASAP for a period of 3 months with flexible full time and part time options. Your focus will be on delivering impactful, person-centred therapy for individuals with MSK hand conditions, and you will be part of a team that thrives on creating dynamic and friendly environments.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in hand therapy settings including trauma, elective, and conservative treatment, and skills in managing long-term conditions. Strong communication and decision-making abilities, along with a commitment to multi-disciplinary collaboration, are essential. Applicants must possess a valid PVG, pass a health check, provide two references, and have the right to work in the UK.

What you will do:
- Conduct assessments for hand therapy clients, identifying their needs, and formulating appropriate treatment plans.
- Implement trauma, elective, and conservative treatments for MSK hand conditions.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide advice and education to patients and families to support treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track patient progress and outcomes.
