What you will do:

- Deliver expert clinical care to children and young people with complex physical needs, drawing upon your advanced experience and knowledge.
- Collaborate with families, colleagues, and partner agencies to provide a holistic and integrated approach to care.
- Manage a complex caseload in the community, equipped with skills and knowledge of 24-hour postural management care and specialist children's equipment.
- Act as a clinical expert within the specialist area of children’s occupational therapy, maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills.
- Conduct assessments and treat your own caseload of patients individually and in groups as part of a multidisciplinary team in various settings.
- Provide specialist advice to social services, housing departments, and other professionals on disability, housing, and relevant legal and funding issues.
- Assess patient needs based on a thorough analysis of situations, and plan interventions accordingly, ensuring safe and effective outcomes.
- Engage in advanced physical skills practice, maintaining accuracy and dexterity essential for tasks such as fine tool manipulation and keyboard skills.
- Maintain up-to-date training and knowledge relevant to the paediatric occupational therapy field.

Requirements:

- You must be HCPC registered.
- A valid driving licence and the ability to drive are essential for this role, allowing you to manage your caseload effectively in the community.
