What you will do:

- Plan and monitor tasks within the Adult Services team to achieve business objectives and outcomes effectively.
- Guide and supervise staff, ensuring services are continually improved and comply with the Council's high standards.
- Uphold the principles of Safeguarding Adults, ensuring all activities align with local and national policies and legislation.
- Champion a strengths-based approach by supporting service users in finding solutions that empower and focus on outcomes.
- Directly manage selected staff, assigning work, and evaluating their performance to foster growth and efficiency.
- Make financially informed decisions that respect budgetary constraints, all while encouraging independence in service users.
- Maintain high standards in service delivery, balancing autonomy with accountability to the team manager.
- Collaborate across disciplines to enhance integrated health and care efforts within Hackney.
- Align your efforts with the Team Manager and Consultant Social Worker to balance developmental and practical work.
- Contribute actively to Quality Assurance Frameworks to support and enhance existing practices.
