Opportunity Alert: Social Worker - Learning Disabilities Team, Walsall, UK. Earn £28.40 hourly on a locum basis for an exciting 3-month assignment! This role is full-time, 37 hours a week, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We're looking for an experienced professional with a passion for improving the lives of adults with learning disabilities. If you have a minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience working with adults with learning disabilities, and meet the criteria set out in the MOU for the West Midlands, with a valid driver's license, you could be the ideal fit for this team.

What you will do:

• Improve outcomes for adults with care and support needs, as well as for carers
• Conduct strengths-based assessments, planning, and direct work in line with the Care Act 2014 and statutory guidance
• Undertake safeguarding duties to protect adults from abuse or neglect
• Uphold transparency, accountability, and safety in social work practice in line with professional standards and ethics
