We are offering a fantastic locum position with competitive pay at £32 hourly while working with a varied caseload of adults aged 17 to 20 years, up to a maximum of 20 cases. This six-month assignment, structured in 12-week blocks, will see you working 36 hours per week with the flexibility of attending the office 2-3 times a week. What you will do:
- Conduct assessments of adults within the mental health sector, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to devise robust care plans and achieve optimal outcomes for service users.
- Provide guidance and support for individuals and their families, empowering them towards recovery and independence.
- Maintain accurate and timely records using best practice standards to document the progression of cases.
- Advocate on behalf of service users to ensure they receive the services and benefits they are entitled to.
Essential requirements:
- At least 2 years post ASYE with substantial social work experience.
- Enhanced DBS clearance, current and up to date.
- Desirable experience in the mental health field, making a difference in people’s lives.
