We are searching for an inspiring Band 4 Support Worker to join our Adult Disability Residential Home Team in Guernsey. This full-time role offers an annual salary ranging from £33,564 to £39,865. What You Will Do

• Provide dedicated support in a 24-hour residential home for adults with disabilities, ensuring consistency in care.

• Empower residents by assisting with daily tasks such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and engaging with the local community.

• Implement the Active Support Model, focusing on helping residents achieve personal goals and maintain independence.

• Build meaningful, trusted relationships with residents, adapting support to each person’s preferences regarding communication, sensory needs, and physical abilities.

• Take on key worker responsibilities, ensuring that residents’ needs and goals are central to their care plan.

• Supervise and offer guidance to Band 3 Support Workers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

• Maintain a valid driving license and use service vehicles to assist with residents’ community participation and outings.

About You

• Able to work a shift system and flexible enough to cover nights and weekends as needed.

• Full UK driving license and the ability to operate service vehicles to facilitate resident outings and community engagement.
