What you will do:

• Work independently under the Trust’s agreed schemes of work, interpreting and assessing referrals for complex X-Ray examinations while ensuring patients are not exposed to unnecessary ionising radiation.

• Supervise and guide Assistant Practitioners and preceptor Radiographers, ensuring they follow best practices in X-Ray examination processes.

• Check and assess your resultant images for technical precision, seeking advice when necessary from senior radiography staff.

• Maintain specialist expertise in the operation of complex X-Ray equipment, managing equipment safety and faults diligently.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in general radiography.

• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

• A driving licence is preferable.
