MEICA Lead – Senior Water Industry Role

About the Role
We are recruiting for two full-time, senior positions to drive delivery across major water industry projects. These roles are ideal for experienced MEICA Leads or M&E Managers / Leads looking to step into a strategic, senior position.
You will be responsible for defining and delivering MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation) strategy and performance across multiple projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring successful project delivery across the full lifecycle – from pre-construction and procurement through to commissioning and handover – while driving safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement MEICA delivery strategy across water projects
- Lead procurement strategies and manage subcontractor arrangements
- Report on performance, risks, and key issues to senior management
- Drive a strong HSEQ culture across multiple project sites
- Ensure consistent implementation of safety and quality procedures
- Oversee programme delivery and contribute to constructability reviews
- Plan and manage MEICA resources across all project stages
- Maintain robust technical governance throughout delivery and handover
- Collaborate with design, commercial, and civil engineering teams
- Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
About You
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering (BEng / HNC / HND)
- Proven experience delivering major water industry
- Strong knowledge of water industry standards and supply chain
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- CSCS card
- SMSTS or IOSH (4-day) certification
