New Job Opportunity - Offshore HSE Advisor - 6 Month Outside IR35 Contract - 30/30 rotation - North Sea
Location: North Sea (Offshore)
Contract: Initially 6 Months (Potential for extension)
IR35 status: Outside IR35
Rotation: 30/30 rotation
Start Date: June 2026
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Offshore HSE Advisor to support offshore operations in the North Sea. The role will focus on promoting and maintaining strong Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring compliance with project and client requirements, and supporting safe offshore project delivery.
The successful candidate will work closely with the offshore management team, contractors, and client representatives to ensure that HSE systems, procedures, and Life Saving Rules are consistently applied.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and lead the implementation of HSE Management Systems and Life Saving Rules
- Provide HSE guidance and support to the offshore site management team
- Lead or assist in incident and accident investigations
- Support HSE monitoring activities and self-verification programmes
- Ensure compliance with project contractual HSE obligations
- Monitor and support subcontractor HSE performance and compliance
- Contribute to maintaining a strong safety culture offshore
Experience Requirements
- Proven offshore HSE experience, including vessel operations
- Experience working with international oil and gas operator standards
- Previous experience working with IMCA contractors
- Strong understanding of offshore safety regulations and best practices
Education & Certifications
- NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent)
- Valid BOSIET
- OGUK Medical
